Lymphoedema
Lymphoedema is a subcutaneous swelling of soft tissues and arises when the lymph vessels system is no longer able to transport lymph away from the extremities. The resulting congestion of water and protein in the tissue causes the swelling. Oedema can be slowed in its progression or even reduced with appropriate compression therapy.

Venous Disorder
Venous disorders force many people into early retirement each year. Many people die from pulmonary embolisms associated with deep vein thrombosis each year - the most feared complication of vein disorders.
Venous diseases cannot be healed. Nevertheless, their progression can be slowed considerably - for instance, by wearing compression stockings regularly.
